Surgery has begun...

I just got a call from Rich Fraer. He's ahead of schedule.He pulled the old motor and transmission out of Big Melvin and hopes to start fitting the new engine next week.

The 8.3 will fit inside the engine compartment without cutting the fire wall. He said there shouldn't be a problem in fitting the transmission also.
